| Manufacturing starts with our stockpile of hardwood chips produced from sawmill waste and forest thinnings. This is transferred to the defribrator which grinds the chip under heat and pressure into a coarse wood fibre. |
| After this process, the coarse wood fibre goes to the raffinator which processes the fibre into a fine uniform pulp. |
| Pulp slurry is pumped onto a moving wire belt forming a wet lap. Water drains under pressure from the rollers and the mat is trimmed to length and width for the press. |
| 30 mats are fed simultaneously into a press which rises and compresses under great heat and pressure to form raw hardboard sheets. During this process, the natural bonding of the wood fibre is established. |
| Sheets are then heat treated in ovens to improve the fibre bond and water resistance properties. |
| In the 'humidification chambers', approximately 7% water is put back into the board to improve stability and minimise buckling. |
| Large panels are sized, planed or processed further to meet customer requirements. These onsite processes include the coating, perforation and other treatment processes to make the full suite of Masonite products. |

| Stocking and Delivery - Stocks are warehoused and packaged for delivery to the customer. |
